We currently have two exciting positions for a Veterinarian at our West Point, PA and Rahway, NJ sites. In this position under scientific and administrative direction, the incumbent will provide clinical, technical and scientific support for programs in Laboratory Animal Resources, aimed at maintaining a comprehensive veterinary care program for the Merck Research Laboratory research community, and for the discovery and development of new drugs for a wide range of therapeutic targets. The incumbent will also participate in collaborative research work, of a broadly defined nature, which requires innovation, creativity and self-initiative.

A degree in veterinary medicine (D.V.M. / V. M. D. or equivalent) from an accredited university or college, is required. Completion of a postdoctoral training program in laboratory animal medicine is highly desirable, as is ACLAM board certification or eligibility.
